Matthew also serves on the investment committee member of Starwood Ventures, Starwood Capital Group’s dedicated PropTech fund.

Additionally, Matthew is actively involved with Jaws’ SPAC franchise. He currently serves as COO of Jaws Mustang (NYSE: JWSM). Matthew previously served as CEO Jaws Spitfire prior to its merger with Velo3D (NYSE: VLD), an advanced 3D metal printing company serving mission critical use cases, where he is a member of the Board of Directors.

Matthew received his M.S. in Quantitative Finance from Fairfield University and graduated with a B.A. in Anthropology from the University of Virginia.

Before Jaws, Sam was an Associate at the Silverfern Group, a global middle-market private equity firm. He began his career as an Analyst in the Mergers & Acquisitions Group at Barclays.

Before Jaws, Sam was an Associate with the Technology Opportunities Fund at Charlesbank Capital Partners, a specialized private equity platform geared toward lower middle-market technology investing. He began his career as an Associate in the Technology Group at William Blair and as an Analyst in the Consumer Group at Piper Sandler.
